LEADERSHIP 

Altron's senior management team is comprised of skilled executives with well over 20 years of leadership experience working with small and large businesses for the federal government.  They are responsible for the growth and continued success of Altron, as well as maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with our partners and federal clients.  Our leadership prides themselves on maintaining and nurturing direct relationships with our clients.  Providing our clients with direct contact to the leadership team facilitates our ability to respond decisively and quickly to their needs.  Our leadership has made a significant investment in building a strong financial platform and robust internal controls.

Chief Executive Officer - Lisa K. Heape

Lisa Heape became the principal owner of Altron in 2002 and is currently the CEO and chairman of the company’s board of directors.  Prior to joining Altron, Ms. Heape worked in telecommunications and has former government service with the state of North Carolina.

She has served as an active volunteer with several community-based fundraising events, including the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball and the Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure, and is a past member of the Sustainers’ Board of the Junior League of Charleston, Inc.

Ms. Heape holds a B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina.



President - Bob Bush

Bob Bush joined Altron with over thirty years experience and demonstrated leadership ability in the strategic planning, design, development, installation, test, Bob Bush joined evaluation, and execution of advanced solutions for information technology and C4ISR programs within the US Military and Federal Government agencies.  Mr. Bush began his career at the Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command in 1983 that included assignments as the Corporate Information Officer (CIO), where he served twelve years as a Senior Government Manager responsible for enterprise wide communications, information technology infrastructure, business applications environment, and CIO policy formulation.  Mr. Bush served nearly 5 years as President of Barling Bay, and guided the company through growth increases of professional personnel by over ten-fold (from 20 employees to over 250 employees); and revenue generation from roughly $750k to $45M within that timeframe.  At Altron, he is responsible for the broad planning of technical services, programs, personnel and business development growth.  He currently has specialized customer engagements in Enterprise Web Portals, Collaborative Systems, as well as endeavors of Information Assurance and Cyber Security.



Vice President - Mike Gercken

Mike Gercken became vice president of Altron in 2009 when the company merged with Provident Analysis Corporation (PAC), an IT solutions and services firm he co-founded.  He is responsible for Altron's IT solutions management, operations and business development. Mr. Gercken has over 20 years experience in pioneering and developing IT solutions for government and commercial clients.  He has been involved in all aspects of software and systems engineering, including Enterprise Architecture Planning, Applications Development, Tactical Systems Development and commercial game development. Mr. Gercken holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as well as a M.S. in Computer Science and a Certificate in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University.
