Altron Hires John Estrada as New President
Charleston, South Carolina – July 6, 2020 – Altron, a Small Business based in Charleston, SC, and Fairfax, VA, announced today that it has hired John Estrada as President. Mr. Estrada will report to the Altron board and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the company.
Mr. Estrada has significant experience in the Federal contracting world from his time at defense contractor DSR and running and growing companies like ServiceBench and eTrans Systems.
Mike Zaramba, Altron Chairman of the Board, stated, “We are very excited to have John leading the team. His experience both in the federal services space as well as with commercial clients should help us take the company to the next level.”
A key part of Mr. Estrada’s responsibilities will be supporting existing clients as well as finding new ones. Mr. Estrada said, “Altron has had great success in the Federal sector over the past 25 years, and I want to expand our services there. In addition, the technologies that Altron has developed and the expertise of Altron personnel will fit very well into several industries that I have been in recently, including Warranty Services and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles.”
One of Altron’s objectives moving forward will be to take its UnifyRT™ solution and other technologies built to support large Navy systems into the Connected and Autonomous vehicle industries. Mr. Estrada went on to say that “with these technologies and the proper partners, Altron can build testing, integration and monitoring solutions that can be a tremendous benefit to companies working on Connected and Autonomous vehicles.”
